The Nigeria Police announces the arrest of Sam Larry.
The Lagos State Police Command's Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made an official statement on X platform, previously known as Twitter, late Thursday night, confirming a significant development.
The Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State Command, has taken into custody the controversial Lagos socialite known as Balogun Eletu, alias Sam Larry. This arrest is part of an ongoing investigation aimed at shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate demise of the singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely recognized as Mohbad.

The individual in question, Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, who goes by the alias Sam Larry, is currently cooperating with the ongoing investigation process.
Prior to this, the police had issued invitations to both Sam Larry and the well-known singer, Azeez Fashola, who is more commonly referred to as Naira Marley, for questioning regarding the events surrounding Mohbad's untimely passing.

In a separate update, it was revealed that a team of pathologists had conducted the autopsy on Mohbad and that the authorities are now eagerly awaiting the results.

Furthermore, the police have also taken into custody the nurse who allegedly administered an injection to the deceased singer prior to his unfortunate demise on Tuesday, September 12.
